About Denize
Denize (she/her) is committed to supporting people in reconnecting with their inner strength, stories, and sense of possibility. Her work is grounded in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and decolonial values. She provides individual and couples therapy through a culturally attuned lens, and has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and family challenges, intergenerational trauma, grief, identity exploration, eating disorders, questions regarding spirituality, and systemic injustice, among many others.
Denize brings warmth, curiosity, and care into the therapeutic space, meeting clients with empathy and respect for their full humanity. Her approach is client-centered and holistic, drawing on many evidence-based approaches tailored to provide long-term relief, as opposed to short-term solutions. Denize welcomes LGBTQIA2+, racialized, newcomer, disabled, and neurodivergent clients, and offers therapy in English and Farsi.
